Tata Technologies to Acquire ES-Tec Group for €75 Million, Bolstering Automotive Engineering Capabilities..

MUMBAI, September 13, 2025 – Tata Technologies, a global leader in product engineering and digital services, has announced a definitive agreement to acquire 100% equity shares of Germany-based ES-Tec GmbH and its subsidiaries (collectively, ES-Tec Group) for a cash consideration of €75 million (approximately ₹775 crore). The deal, which includes performance-based earn-outs to be paid over the next two years, marks a significant step in expanding Tata Technologies’ footprint in the global automotive engineering sector.
The acquisition strengthens Tata Technologies’ capabilities in delivering end-to-end product engineering solutions, particularly in the rapidly evolving areas of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), connected driving, and digital engineering. ES-Tec Group, founded in 2006 and headquartered in Wolfsburg, Germany, is a premium automotive engineering services provider with a workforce of over 300 skilled professionals. The company has built a strong reputation for delivering complex systems engineering solutions to major global Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).
